About the Role
Warehouse Manager at a well-established Heating & Plumbing Contractor, specializing in installations and servicing of Heating and Plumbing systems for large scale commercial buildings.
Location: New York Metropolitan Area
$120,000 - $135,000 base salary + bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all safety matters at our warehouse
- Manage PPE inventory.
- Emergency preparedness, including fire safety compliance
- Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees to ensure that all tasks are performed safely, and efficiently.
- Oversee the operations of our multiple shops and warehouse facilities for Installations, Service and Repair departments.
- Oversee inventory in our vehicles.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Help implement and manage an inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Manages schedules of deliveries and shipments to optimize operations.
- Physical inventory counts for accounting purposes.
- Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
- Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Responsible for overseeing the daily opening/closing of the building facilities.
- Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
- Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
- Recommends inventory shelving/organization system modifications.
- Maintenance and repair of company vehicles.
- Operation and maintenance of the forklift and other equipment.
- Responsible for overseeing the daily opening/closing of the building facilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to perform tasks in all aspects of construction sites; ability to climb ladders and crawl as needed; ability to work from aerial lifts; ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs.
The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.
