A Project Manager position in Utica, NY has arisen at a national General Contractor with more than 1,600 employees; 13 regional offices dotting the east coast; and upward of $2.5 billion in annual volume. Working closely with the COO & VP of Operations, this is a senior leadership and client focused position, which will assume responsibility for pre-construction and construction phase of projects which include new construction, renovations, construction infrastructure, and existing refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle planning, scheduling, coordination, monitoring, and managing all phases of new construction.
Manage financial aspects of construction, construction documentation including fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, to protect company interests and maintain good relationships with clients.
Execute project delivery from initial design throughout construction phase
Review amplified drawings for changes and clarifications.
Perform project status reviews by monitoring project schedule, submittal/RFI logs and open items.
Effective client communication throughout pre construction phase, including meeting agendas and minutes
Report directly to the Principal with updates.
Assist estimating team with quantity takeoffs, scopes of work, and bidding processes
Collaborating across disciplines (Design, Preconstruction and Construction)
Contributing to the creation of a high performing, innovative team environment
Leading and developing high performing teams
Required Qualifications:
6+ years proven track record of assuring client satisfaction.
6+ years track record of delivering on-time projects.
6+ years of experience maintaining or exceeding planned profit targets for projects.
6+ years creating and maintaining a culture of safety.
6+ years experience developing a culture of quality assurance and control.
6+ years managing and developing successful teams.
Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management or equivalent experience and minimum 6 years prior relevant experience.
Compensation: $140,000 - $180,000
The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.
