Lead Field Manager role at a well-established HVAC Contractor, specializing in installations of heating systems for large scale commercial buildings. Working closely with the Sr. Project Manager, this is a management position, which will assume responsibility for pre-construction and construction phases, including new construction, retrofits, CHP and boiler installations, and repairs.

Location: Projects throughout NYC and the five boroughs

125,000 - 150,000 base salary + car allowance, benefits, bonus


Job overview: Manage installation and boiler repair projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee installation crews and subcontractors to ensure project quality, efficiency and completion
* Execute installations according to construction documents (drawings, specs, manuals)
* Attend site meetings with Architects, Customers, Engineers and City Agencies
* Consult with design engineers and subcontractors to assist in planning and organizing
* Establish and maintain excellent client relationships
* Train customers on equipment operation upon completion of the project

Required Experience:
* 5-years of experience in commercial boilers and knowledgeable in: Steam heating systems, hydronic heating systems, pumps, fuel code, plumbing and electrical.
* Must be detail oriented, team player and have good follow-up skills.
* Must have effective written/oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
* Preferred but not required: Experience with Cogeneration (CHP), Chillers and General HVAC

Compensation: $125,000 - $170,000

The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.
