A Business Development Manager role has arisen with a rapidly growing, full-service property management firm in New York. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue generation within the property management sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the real estate market and a proven track record of sales in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for expansion in property management services.

  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and acquire new clients, including networking, attending industry events, and leveraging digital marketing.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our services and value propositions effectively.

  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and acquiring new clients.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the property management or real estate sector (condo/co-op ideal).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 Base Salary + Commission

The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.
